CODE READER 2.0

The Code Reader 2.0 is a very powerful scanner that is light-weight, ergonomically designed and small in size so it won't take up valuable space on your lab work-bench or testing area. The CR2 has a dual path optical system, a 1.3 million pixel imaging sensor and the industry's most powerful 400Mhz processor by AMD.

This level of power gives the CR2 the ability to scan the widest range of both linear and 2D bar codes, and makes for faster and more reliable reads. The CR2 can even be custom programmed for "smart" scanning.

 
There are 3 interface configurations of the CR2 available:


Hand Format

Cabled (Basic)
Plug-and-play interface. Available with USB (standard), PS2 or RS232 interfaces. All cables use rugged automatic locking adapters that allow users to change cables while preventing inadvertent disconnections.

Bath (Basic + Battery)
Cabled and Store and Forward capabity in one unit. Simply detach scanner from computer, capture data remotely and reconnect to computer. When reconnected, the scanner will automatically download data to the active application. Features lithium-ion battery with 4000-scan lifespan, plus 8 hours of standby time.

Cordless (Batch + Internal Radio)
Cabled, Batch and Cordless capability configured in this unit. Incorporates class 1 Bluetooth radio with 91.44 m operating range to communicate seamlessly with desktop PCs, laptops, printers and PDAs. Coupled with our Bluetooth Wedge Modem, the Code Reader will send live data back to an active application.
